What FixSift checks
The seven areas every FixSift scan looks at, and what each one means.
FixSift reads your homepage the way a first-time visitor would, then checks it against seven areas.
The seven areas
- **Messaging** — whether a stranger can tell what you do, who it is for, and why it is better, within a few seconds.
- **Conversion** — whether there is an obvious next step, and whether anything gets in its way.
- **Trust** — the proof a visitor needs before they act: real names, real numbers, real evidence.
- **User experience** — structure, readability and whether the page works on a phone.
- **SEO** — the technical basics a search engine reads: title, description, headings, canonical, structured data.
- **AI Search Readiness** — whether an AI assistant summarising your site would get you right.
- **Accessibility** — the machine-checkable parts of accessibility: text alternatives, labels, heading order, link text.
What it does not do
FixSift does not guess. Every finding points at something on your page. Where the page does not contain the thing a check is about, the check is marked *Not applicable* rather than failed.
