What we collect
When you run a scan, we store the website address you entered, the normalized homepage URL we analyzed, the content we retrieved from that public page, and the analysis we generated from it.
What we do not collect
FixSift does not require an account, and we do not ask for your email address to run a scan or to view your result. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data.
If you ask us to email your result
Sending yourself a result link is optional. If you do, we store that address and use it to send the result you asked for. You will only receive marketing email if you explicitly tick the box that says so — asking for a report link is not treated as consent to marketing, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
How long we keep things
- Scraped homepage content: 90 days
- Scans and their analysis: 365 days
- Generated reports: 365 days
- Purchase intents and prepared checkouts: 365 days
- Email addresses you gave us: 730 days
Anonymous usage data
We record a small number of product events (for example: a scan was started, a result was viewed) against a random session identifier stored in your browser. That identifier is not linked to your identity and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser storage.
Public pages only
FixSift only retrieves publicly accessible pages. It does not log in to websites, and it does not attempt to reach private or internal addresses.
Your result link
Each scan result is available at a unique, randomly generated link. Anyone with that link can view the result, so share it only with people you trust.
