Free conversion audit

Traffic is not the problem if nobody acts. This scan reads your page for the four things that decide whether a visitor takes the next step — and tells you which one is failing.

What you get: your FixSift score and your highest-priority findings, with the evidence behind each one. See what FixSift checks.

What the scan checks

This page reads the FixSift scan through one lens: calls to action, offer clarity, friction, proof and next-step clarity. The scanner is the same one the homepage uses — what changes is which findings are brought to the front.

Call to action

Whether there is a single dominant action, whether its label describes what happens next, and whether it appears where the decision is actually made.

Offer clarity

Whether the visitor can state what they get, what it costs and what it commits them to before they are asked to act.

Friction

Unexplained forms, unnecessary fields, gated pricing, required accounts and any step that asks for effort before giving value.

Proof

Whether evidence appears at the point of doubt rather than at the bottom of the page, and whether it is specific enough to carry weight.

Next-step clarity

Whether someone who is interested but not ready has a lower-commitment option, or only a wall.

Why this matters

Conversion problems are usually decision problems. The visitor understood the offer, had no strong objection, and still did not act — because the page never made the next step obvious or cheap enough to take.

That is why a conversion audit looks at sequence rather than components. The right proof in the wrong place does nothing; a strong CTA under a vague offer does nothing either.

FixSift reads the page in order and reports where the sequence breaks, which is almost always earlier than people expect.

What this looks like in practice

"Learn more" as the primary button

It describes no outcome and commits to nothing, so it converts the curious and loses the ready.

Pricing behind a form

A gate placed before the value is established filters out exactly the people who would have bought.

A single high-commitment action

"Book a 45-minute consultation" with no smaller step means everyone who is interested but not ready leaves with nothing.

Common issues we find

Competing calls to action

Two or three equally weighted actions split attention and slow the decision.

The offer is implied, not stated

Pages often describe an approach or a philosophy and never say plainly what the visitor gets.

Objections handled nowhere

Cost, commitment, timing and switching are the four that come up most, and most pages answer none of them.

Proof that proves the wrong thing

Testimonials about pleasantness do not answer a doubt about results.

Frequently asked questions

What is a conversion audit?

A structured read of a page against the reasons visitors fail to act: unclear offer, weak or competing calls to action, unnecessary friction, and missing proof at the point of doubt. FixSift does this from the page itself, without needing analytics access.

Do I need analytics data for this?

No. FixSift reads the page, not your traffic. Analytics tells you where people drop off; a conversion audit tells you what on the page is likely to be causing it. They work well together, but the scan needs nothing from you but a URL.

Is this the same as the general website audit?

It is the same scanner, read through a conversion lens. The general audit weighs messaging, trust and clarity equally; this page focuses the report on the conversion findings and the order in which to fix them.

Will it tell me my expected conversion rate?

No. FixSift does not predict conversion rates and does not claim a percentage uplift for any fix. It identifies what is likely to be costing you action and ranks it.
