Terms
Terms
Template content. General template content. These terms describe how FixSift currently works. They are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Replace them with reviewed terms before commercial launch.
The service
FixSift analyzes the publicly available content of a website homepage and returns an assessment of its messaging, conversion, trust, clarity, SEO fundamentals, AI search readiness and accessibility basics, along with a score and a prioritized list of opportunities.
The free scan shows your FixSift Score, four category scores and your three highest-priority findings. Paid products open the remaining findings, all seven category scores and a prioritized action plan.
What is and is not measured
FixSift reviews the content of your homepage as it was retrieved at the time of the scan. It does not measure page speed, traffic, rankings or revenue, and it does not crawl your whole site.
SEO Fundamentals checks core homepage signals and does not replace a complete technical SEO crawl. AI Search Readiness measures how clearly your website presents information machines can understand; it does not measure or guarantee visibility in any specific AI search product. Automated accessibility checks cover only a subset of potential issues and cannot establish WCAG or legal compliance.
Acceptable use
Scan websites you own or have permission to analyze. Do not use FixSift to attempt to access private systems, to overload a website, or for any unlawful purpose.
No guarantee of results
FixSift provides an assessment, not a promise. Recommendations describe opportunities that may improve how visitors understand and act on your offer. We do not guarantee any particular business outcome.
Payment and deliveryNeeds legal review
Paid products are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and no account is required.
Payment is not yet enabled. When it is, your report is delivered in your browser at a private link, and a copy of that link is emailed to the address given at checkout.
RefundsNeeds legal review
Because a report is generated and delivered immediately, a refund policy has to state clearly when a refund is and is not available. This section must be written and reviewed before payments are enabled.
Placeholder intent: a refund is offered where a report could not be generated, or where the analysis was materially wrong about the page that was scanned.
Your data
We store the scanned page content, the analysis and your result link. Scraped homepage content is retained for 90 days, audits for 365 days and reports for 365 days.
If you ask us to email you a result, we store that address. We use it to send the result you asked for, and for marketing only if you explicitly opted in. Addresses are retained for 730 days.
Availability
The free scan is offered as-is and may change, pause or end at any time. Result links may be removed after the retention period above.
Liability and governing lawNeeds legal review
A limitation of liability and a governing-law clause belong here. Both depend on where the business is established and on the jurisdictions it sells into, so neither is drafted in this template.
Still to be supplied by a legal review
- Refund and cancellation policy, including any statutory withdrawal right for consumers
- Limitation of liability
- Governing law and dispute resolution
- Company identity, registered address and VAT treatment on invoices
- Consumer-rights disclosures required in each market sold into
